Vesta Sofa

Vesta is a modular seating system built entirely from soft, rounded volumes. Rather than a fixed sofa with a fixed silhouette, it is a set of pieces that combine into whatever a room needs, from a compact two-seater to a long sectional run.

Studiopepe conceived it as a refuge rather than a statement. The forms are generous and organic, with no hard edges to interrupt them, and the intention is an enveloping, immersive comfort that makes a space feel intimate rather than furnished.

This is the 129 cm module with a left arm, one of the basic building blocks of the system. Paired with its right-arm counterpart it forms a complete sofa; combined with armless modules, corners and chaise elements it extends into larger compositions.

Inside, a timber frame is wrapped in polyurethane foam and the seat carries a generous layer of viscoelastic memory foam, which is what gives Vesta its yielding, settled feel. The plinth is lacquered MDF and sits on felt glides.
