Wrinkled Link Module 140

A single low seating module with a quilted, crinkled surface, designed to be joined to others rather than used alone.

Raw Color built the Link system around one idea: instead of selling sofas in fixed lengths, sell the unit. Modules connect end to end through a concealed metal hinge and zip mechanism, so a run can be two units or six, straight or turned, and can change later without buying a new sofa.

Wrinkled Link is the expanded version of that module. The same shape gets a removable quilted cover with additional fibre padding, which produces the soft ruffled surface the name refers to. It is closer to a textile piece than a conventional upholstered seat.

The structure is injection moulded foam, and the cover comes off for cleaning or repair. Because the quilted construction is heavier than the standard Link, Sancal limit how many Wrinkled units run consecutively, with plain Link modules completing longer compositions.
