Tonella Stool 77

The Tonella stool is the slimmest piece in Note Design Studio's family for Sancal. Like the rest of the range, it is inspired by the staves of Spanish wine barrels, a tribute to Sancal's home in the wine-growing town of Yecla.

Here the idea is taken as far as it goes. The metal rods become the main event, forming an open cage that rises from the floor and wraps around the seat.

The seat cushion is upholstered in fabric or leather and sits lightly within the frame, giving the whole piece an airy, almost weightless look.

This is the 77 cm seat height version. The frame comes in bronze or nacar, and a 67 cm version is also available. Tonella armchairs, sofas, lounge chairs and poufs complete the collection.
