Nido Chair, Sled Base

Nido means nest, and that is the idea behind the whole family. Rafa García imagined the seat as a small refuge, a compact shell that holds you comfortably without taking over the room.

The dining chair follows the original Nido lounge chair. The upper part of the frame branches out to cradle the seat, and black piping runs around the contour, which makes two-tone upholstery look especially sharp.

This version sits on a metal sled base in a black matte epoxy finish. Its small footprint makes it a good fit around a dining table, as a guest chair in a study or anywhere space is tight.

The upholstery comes tightly tailored or quilted. Ash wood legs and a swivel, height-adjustable base are also available.
