Collar Chair, Wooden Legs

Collar started with a tailoring idea. Design studio Skrivo wanted a dining chair that felt as comfortable as a well-cut jacket, and the name says the rest: the arms fold over at the top just like a button-down shirt collar.

Inside, the shell is injection molded and was refined through extensive modeling. Outside, the upholstery is cut and finished like a made-to-measure suit. Even the buttons and the piping are covered to match the seat cushion.

This version stands on four solid ash legs, which can be stained in a broad palette of colors. It sits comfortably at a dining table, a desk or a meeting table.

Collar is also available on four metal legs, on a four-star base and as a wheeled office chair, all upholstered to order.
