Cita Table 240

A dining table conceived less as a piece of furniture than as a place to meet. Cita means appointment in Spanish, and the whole collection is built around that idea.

Note Design Studio approached it as a social system rather than a single object, with soft organic silhouettes that deliberately blur the line between working, eating and simply sitting together. It suits a dining room, but it suits an open-plan space that has to do several jobs even better.

The top is ash veneer edged in solid ash, and the base is the detail that gives the table its character: slatted ash sleeved over an interior metal tube, so the warmth of the timber does the visual work while the metal carries the load.

At 240 cm it seats a full table comfortably. The ash is offered across a wide range of stains, so the same design can read pale and Nordic or deep and enveloping.
