Stone 6 Rug

Stone 6 is the widest and softest of the six outlines, a rounded form with no obvious front, which makes it easy to place and easy to live with.

It is hand tufted in pure New Zealand wool. The pile is dense and cut level, so the shape reads as one continuous plane of colour rather than a woven pattern.

The tone is a warm sand-beige that sits comfortably against oak, travertine and pale plaster, and gives a neutral room some floor-level texture without adding another colour to it.

Diego Fortunato drew the collection as a set of stones to be scattered rather than arranged. Two or three together, in different sizes and tones, is how it was meant to be used.
