Stone 2 Rug

Stone 2 is the long, narrow pebble of the family, a shape that suits the run of floor between a bed and a wall, or the strip in front of a low sofa.

The wool is pure New Zealand fleece, hand tufted so the pile stands upright and dense. That density is what gives these rugs their weight and their quiet.

The colour is a deep olive grey, dark enough to anchor a pale room and warm enough never to read as black.

Diego Fortunato drew the collection to be laid in groups, one outline overlapping the next, though each piece holds its own alone.
