Quill S Rug Green

Quill S is the small feather in Nao Tamura's collection, sized for a bedside, a bathroom doorway or the gap beside a desk.

This one is made to order in a custom green. The fine parallel lines of the feather's barbs are worked into the pile at varying heights, so the drawing appears as texture and shadow rather than as printed pattern.

It is hand tufted in virgin wool, dense enough to sit flat without a pad and soft enough to stand on barefoot.

Tamura designed the collection around wabi-sabi, the beauty of the modest and the imperfect. The outline is deliberately hand-drawn, not geometric, and no two pieces sit quite the same way in a room.
