Talk Armchair

Talk is a padded lounge armchair built from three elements that all derive from a single shape. Alessandro Di Prisco designed it for Mogg in 2022, and the logic of the piece is visible at a glance: one form, repeated and rotated, becomes the seat, the back and the arms.

That repetition gives the chair a strong geometric character while keeping the lines simple. There is no ornament and no visible frame, just three soft blocks meeting each other, which makes Talk read as sculptural from across a room and generous once you are sitting in it.

The proportions are compact and square, so it works where a full lounge chair would crowd the space. It suits a living area, a reading corner, or the kind of waiting and breakout space that needs to look considered rather than institutional.

Talk is upholstered to order in Mogg's full range of fabrics and leathers, including structured weaves, velvets and nubuck, so the same geometry can be dressed to recede quietly or to anchor the room.
