Mochi Armchair

Mochi is a welcoming, slightly extravagant armchair named after the soft Japanese rice cake it resembles. Artur de Menezes designed it in 2025 around big, generous volumes that look as if they have been gently squeezed together.

The design is asymmetrical, with rounded cushions of different sizes wrapping the seat. The overall effect is soft and relaxed, an open invitation to sink in and switch off.

High-performance foams and fabrics keep the shape and comfort intact through everyday use, so the piece works as well in a family living room as in a hotel lobby or lounge.

Mochi is fully upholstered in stretch fabrics from Mogg's sample range, in calm naturals or deeper, moodier tones. Made in Italy by Mogg.
