Striche Coffee Table

In Venetian dialect, striche means lines or stripes, and "far striche" means to go big and make a splash. Matteo Zorzenoni's coffee table lives up to both meanings.

The top is made from Murano cast glass and takes four separate pours: one for the shape, one for the color, one for the pattern and a final one for the texture. Only then does it reach its signature sugary, almost gummy look.

It sits on a base of blown glass, so light passes through the whole piece and plays across the floor. The top comes in amber orange or mint green, and the base in blue or clear crystal.

This is the low version, at 31 cm high. A taller side table at 41.5 cm is also available, and the two look great grouped together.
