Amia Armchair

Amia is an upholstered armchair with a lively, graphic outline, where crisp lines meet softly rounded joints. Compact enough to pull up to a dining table yet comfortable enough to linger in, it sits happily between dining chair and lounge seat.

Design studio E-ggs approached Amia as though it were a small sofa. The legs mirror one another from front to back and cross to shape a gently squared backrest, a detail that gives the chair its distinctive personality from every angle.

Layers of foam in different densities give the seat a supportive, subtly responsive feel, and the body is fully upholstered in a wide choice of fabrics and wools from leading textile houses. Solid ash armrests, available in natural or black ash, add a warm and tactile frame.

Around a dining table, at a desk or in a bedroom corner, Amia brings a tailored, confident look to homes and hospitality spaces alike, and it has been recognised with an Archiproducts Design Award. Designed by E-ggs for Miniforms.
