Menhir is a low table designed by Giotto Stoppino and Lodovico Acerbis in 1983, a bold composition of colors and textures with a sculptural simplicity.
With an almost classical, Greek-like feel, a column connects a monumental marble base to the top. The base is in matt marble, and the top can be gloss lacquered, black ash or dark stained walnut veneer, or textured cast glass.
Tops and bases can be combined freely, so the table can be quiet and tonal or a striking play of contrasting materials. Used alone or in groups, Menhir creates compositions with real presence.
Menhir comes in three heights and a range of top sizes, as well as a console version.
