Ebi Chair

Ebi grew out of a study of curved wood. Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces built the whole chair around one continuous line: an arch forms the backrest and armrests above, and a sled base echoes the same curve below.

The backrest is curved plywood and the seat sits on elastic straps, both padded and upholstered in fabric or leather. The result is light to look at and comfortable to sit in.

The frame comes in solid ash, stained black or dark walnut, or in solid beech with a glossy lacquer in dark green, bordeaux or black.

Ebi is available with an open backrest or a fully upholstered high back.
